A Level Results Day 2025

August 14, 2025 11:38am

We're celebrating our students' achievements as they pick up their A Level and Level 3 Vocational results today

We have seen particular success in subjects including English, Art, Sport and Health and Social Care, and are delighted that our students’ hard work and commitment over the last two years, with support from staff, have led to these impressive results. This demonstrates our commitment to providing an inclusive and academically challenging education from the ages of 11 to 18.

Many students are now excitedly preparing to study at university, begin an apprenticeship or enter the world of work. While all students have done well, there are some standout individual achievements.

These include:

  • Willow C-K – achieved grades B, Distinction, Distinction* in Sociology, Health and Social Care and Psychology and will be studying Psychology at Loughborough University.
  • Caitlin L – achieved grades C, Distinction*, Distinction* in Sociology, Psychology and Health and Social Care and will be studying Sociology at Southampton University.
  • Diogo B – achieved triple Distinction* in Sport and Spanish and will be studying Sport and Exercise Science at Canterbury Christ Church University.
  • Nathaniel A – achieved Level 3 qualifications in Art, Design and Technology and Business and will be studying Architecture at Nottingham Trent University

Sixth Form students starting at the school in September 2025 will benefit from accessing The Victory Academy’s brand new, purpose-built Sixth Form Centre which was designed to provide the upper school pupils with a space that fosters independence and growth.

The state-of-the-art block includes a new social space with catering facilities and a large study room for pupils to collaborate or take time for independent study.

Oliver Owen, Headteacher at The Victory Academy said:

We’re incredibly proud of our students and the fantastic A-Level and Level 3 Vocational results they’ve achieved this year. These outcomes are the result of high ambition, consistent hard work and the support of families and friends.

“Their success also reflects the thoughtful and reflective approach to learning we champion at The Victory Academy, guided daily by our highly skilled staff team. Congratulations to everyone receiving their results today. You should be very proud of your achievements, and we are excited to hear where they will take you next.”

At The Victory Academy, we believe that school is more than just exam results, but an opportunity to be lifelong learners. This approach is developed through the embedding of metacognitive ‘thinking tools’ throughout the whole curriculum. Our values of Respect (Be Kind), Belief (Work Hard) and Pride (Celebrate All), alongside our inclusive approach to teaching and learning, enables all students to thrive and achieve their best.
