It was an honour to host the Rotary Youth Speaks competition at Victory Academy on Friday 7th February, welcoming the Rotary Club, the Mayor of Medway and Councillor Vince Maple. We had three inspiring and articulate Victory students taking part on a wide range of topics, and they all impressed our esteemed visitors!
Huge congratulations to Sydney-Mae G (Year 7) who came 1st place in the junior category with her passionate speech about the importance of gorillas, and to Adewale A (year 12) who came 2nd place in the senior category (despite being roped in last minute and only having 3 hours to prepare!).
