The Big Bang Event

On Wednesday 10th May our Year 9 and 10 students took part in The Big Bant Event. 

The first activity was to create moving bottle cars, using plastic bottles and a variety of materials. Students were divided into small groups and were given design suggestions using the balloon or propellor method.

We also welcomed Ian Dunne from Do Science. Ian performed a variety of science 'magic' showing the students tricks, robotics, optical illusions and electricity. The show was fun and engaging - we especially loved Tibbles the robot cat!

The Big Bang Event was a great success and we hope to organise a similar event next year.
