Welcome to The Victory Academy’s Sixth Form!

In this section of our website, you will find information about our excellent Sixth Form and what we offer, as well as our virtual open day and practical information.

The Victory Academy Sixth Form provides a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment for students to learn, develop and prepare for their next steps in life. We aim to provide a high standard of education through which all of our students can achieve their full potential.

We aim to help our students:

  • acquire a love of learning through the development of knowledge and skills
  • achieve their qualifications and personal goals;
  • develop their confidence, independence and a positive attitude;
  • develop their creativity, imagination and pride in their work
  • demonstrate their personal responsibility and the importance of human relationships through understanding, tolerance and respect
  • establish and maintain links with the world of work, learning providers and higher education establishments.

Careers and Higher Education

At The Victory Academy Sixth Form, our students are given the chance to consider and explore a range of career, apprenticeship and higher education options, and are encouraged to aim high.

Dress Code

As a young adult in a professional environment, students attending The Victory Academy Sixth Form are expected to dress appropriately.

Football Academy

The Victory Academy has partnered with APD to create a Football Academy for students joining our Sixth Form. This is great news for 15-16 year old boys in Medway and the surrounding areas who are keen footballers and wish to follow a career in sport.

Sixth Form Bursary

From September 2011, a new Bursary fund was issued to schools and Academies to support students who might struggle with the costs of full-time education or training.

Study Support

Tutors work with students on strategies to support their learning during daily Mentoring sessions. Careers guidance and and help with applications to University, apprenticeships and work-placements also take place during Tutor time.

What We Offer

The A Level programme provides subjects across the arts, sciences and humanities, and additionally includes the potential to study further subjects at Holcombe Grammar School, a member of our Thinking Schools Academy Trust family of schools.
